The Indo-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IBLCCI) held its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 11 September at the Royal Bombay Yacht Club, Mumbai, followed by a Fireside Chat and Networking Dinner.
At the AGM, Mr Vivek Bhide, Regional President, India and Group Transformation Officer, John Cockerill, handed over the Presidency of IBLCCI to Mr Firoz Kachwalla, Proprietor, M A Kachwalla & Sons and a founding member of the Chamber.
The newly elected Governing Council comprises Dr Sharmila Amin, Mr Daljit Singh Kohli, Ms Priyanka Mishra, Mr Ashish Das, Ms Els Reynaers, Mr Amlanabha Das and Mr Girish Pandey.
The evening was graced by Dr Rajesh Gawande, IFS, Secretary (Protocol, FDI, Diaspora & Outreach) and Chief of Protocol, Government of Maharashtra, as Chief Guest; H E Pierre Steverlynck, Consul General of Belgium in Mumbai, as Guest of Honour; and Mr Jesal Doshi, Honorary Consul of Luxembourg to West India.
The Fireside Chat featuring Dr Rajesh Gawande, IFS, and moderated by Dr Prasad Pradhaan, PhD, Global banking & GCC veteran, Enterprise Risk & Resiliency Leader, ex Hon Advisory Director – PMO India focused on Maharashtra’s investment landscape and the opportunities for global partnerships. The insightful session was followed by a well-attended networking dinner, providing members and guests an opportunity to connect, exchange ideas and explore avenues for future collaboration.
With its new leadership in place, IBLCCI looks forward to continuing its efforts to strengthen business ties, promote trade and investment, and foster greater collaboration between India, Belgium and Luxembourg.
