The 5th Edition of the Largest College Fest of Maritime Colleges in India unveiled at the Beautiful Buntara Bhavan
This edition we had 23 MTI(Maritime Training Institue) from all corners of the Country with more than 600+ participants
In the 1st Edition at Bangalore, we had 7 Girls, this edition we created history, we had 120 Girls taking part in Naughtica 5.0
Naughtica as the name suggests Naughty + Nautical – Naughtica
So, at Naughtica the participants have fun and at the same time learn and experience the elements of their training and actual ship board operations in a different way
Whether it is passage planning, overhauling a Main engine, preparing for Troupe Dance, Sports activity or any other activity at Naughtica
It all requires – Approvals / Permit to work, Planning, Risk assessment, Strategy, Time Management, Team work, Training, Tool Box meetings , Proper tools , Identifying and availability of resources , Communication , Monitoring Work Progress , Execution and Feedback – which was showcased on both days of Naughtica 5.0
Naughtica 5.0 is an avenue for the participants to showcase their skills, Talent, determination, and grit in the 15 activities planned in a span of 1.5 days

The Inauguration ceremony was well attended by the Industry Stalwarts from Shipping Companies and Training Institutes
Shri Shyam Jagannathan, IAS – DG Shipping sent an encouraging video message to the Participants of Naughtica
The office of DG was represented by Shri Deependra Singh Bisen, Deputy DGS, responsible for the Personnel Branch & Training Branch, He inspired the young minds and made us aware of the Maritime Vision of the Country
Naughtica 5.0 is powered by Maritime Training Trust (MTT) which is a charitable trust and has been supporting Naughtica in the past, present and Surely in the future too
As a tribute to Late Capt Purnendu Shorey, Co – Founder of Offing Group, a Scholarship to the tune of INR 2.5 Lacs was announced to a deserving candidate
Best marine, a company who is into PPE Manufacturing for last 40 years , used the Naughtica platform and announced 2 more scholarships of 2.5 lacs each to deserving candidates
Naughtica is all about creating memories and provides an opportunity to meet/ Network students from all over India
We are pleased to inform that by the end of Naughtica 5.0 we have more than 3000 Naughticans (1st Edition to 5th Edition) who have taken part in Naughtica and it was announced that a Naughtica Alumni club is being formed
And as a Tradition to declare Naughtica 5.0 Open, we had four Ex Naughticans who stroked the Gong
The next 1.5 days we witnessed from the Participants, Sportsman spirit, cheering up for own colleges and other colleges, emotions running high and low and overall happiness
The Representatives from Various Institutes were very involved and we saw them motivating their students in various activities
International Maritime Employers Council (IMEC) was present there and the organisers (Offing) arranged approx. 70 school students to attend this event and gave them career guidance about Merchant Navy, and also glimpse of Naughtica
The event closed on Day 2 – 4th October finished at around 1700 hrs
Samudra Institute of Maritime Studies (SIMS) – Lonavala lifted the WINNERS TROPHY of Naughtica 5.0
HSBC our presenting partners of Naughtica 5.0, presented a VIRAT KHOLI signed bat to the Winning Team
Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI), Pune were presented the Runners up Trophy of Naughtica 5.0
