Tremendous Crowd Response at Celebration of World Maritime Day in Mumbai

The 13th edition of Kashti, Marex Media’s annual musical concert celebrating World Maritime Day, set the stage ablaze on Friday, September 20, 2024, in Mumbai.

This year, the audience was treated to a mesmerizing live performance by the incredibly talented Mahalakshmi Iyer, who has solidified her position as one of India’s foremost musical icons. Capt Chadha quipped: “By inviting this time the cadets to light the traditional inaugural lamp, we’ve surely given our VIPs a much-needed break from this duty.”

The mood was set for a night filled with enchantment, camaraderie, and cultural richness.

The book was officially launched by Mahalaxmi Iyer & Shriram Iyer amidst a huge round of applause as a tribute to the stalwarts in the industry.
