The Three Bees Research Foundation planted 30 saplings in Sector 44-C, Chandigarh, on June 25th in observance of the Day of the Seafarer. Representatives from the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), Three Bees Shipping (TBS), The Leela World Wide Group, The Maritime Union of India (MUI), and The Seafarers Community from Chandigarh welcomed this occasion and pledged to take a tiny step towards a greener environment and planet.
Since 2021, the Three Bees Research Foundation (TBRF) has been pushing for a greener plantation drive for four years running. “We support and stand in solidarity with our fellow seafarers as they change the world and honour the sacrifices made by their families, particularly in the wake of recent wars and pandemics where many have lost their lives,” expressed Team TBRF.
This little attempt to create a world free of pollution and greener is what it is all about. We have faith that our children will carry on this adventure and improve the maritime legacy left by their predecessors. We implore our young people once more to keep leading by example in the maritime industry, whether it is on inland waterways (IWS), offshore, in the main fleet, on shore, or on a much greener planet that we can all enjoy.
