CMA CGM has revamped two of its services IEX 2 and INDAMEX Services from India to meet the increasing demand here. While the India East Coast Express (IEX 2) that connects to Singapore will begin its services this month-end, the INDAMEX service connecting to main US will begin from August 15.
The India East Coast Express (IEX 2) connecting Asia to South East India and Sri Lanka, will begin its operations with the vessel HANSA HOMBURG, ETD Singapore on June 27, 2024.
IEX 2 is a dedicated fortnightly service providing direct shuttle from Singapore to Chennai and Colombo, connecting Chennai Exports via Colombo on CMA CGM’s extensive network. The Port Rotation of IEX 2 will be Singapore – Chennai – Colombo – Singapore.
Whereas ,the renewed INDAMEX shipping line will be a weekly fixed day sailings with 8,500-TEU vessels shall depart from ISC to USEC, beginning August 15 in order to meet high demand between Indian Subcontinent and /to all main US East Coast. The first departure of this service will take place on August 15th, 2024 from Port Qasim with m/v “APL SOUTHAMPTON”.
The INDAMEX will have a roundtrip rotation every 77 days via Cape of Good Hope between: Port Qasim – Nhava Sheva – Mundra – New York – Norfolk – Savannah – Charleston – back to ISC.
The services will be using both ex/in India (Nhava Sheva) and in the US (New York) CMA Terminals dedicated assets with dedicated windows, berth on arrival, full priority 52 weeks/year.
